Job summary

Beam Therapeutics seeks a Manager, Raw Materials Planning to lead materials planning and governance for Beam NC, ensuring uninterrupted supply for Liver production and tech transfer. You will partner with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, and IT to optimize inventory and vendor management.

The role requires 5+ years in biotech supply chain or operations, with strong SAP/MRP experience, and a Bachelor’s degree; MS/MBA is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; MS/MBA preferred.
• APICS certification (CPIM/CSCP/CPSM) or willingness to obtain certification.
• Experience with inventory systems, planning, and contract manufacturing principles.

Responsibilities

• Own and lead raw material governance forms and S&OP forums.
• Execute production planning aspects of manufacturing including SAP Process Order management.
• Ensure material flow and procurement oversight to support tech transfer and operations.
• Provide forecasts to suppliers and monitor order fulfillment for materials.
• Manage purchase orders, open orders, and invoicing approvals for raw materials.
