Job summary

Beam Therapeutics seeks a Manager, Raw Materials Planning to join our Supply Chain team at the North Carolina site. You will oversee raw materials planning, purchasing, and vendor management to ensure uninterrupted supply for Liver Drug Product manufacturing.

Collaboration with cross-functional teams and strong SAP/MRP proficiency are essential. Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in biotech/pharma supply chain, a BS (MS/MBA preferred), and APICS certification consideration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; MS/MBA preferred.
• 5+ years’ experience in Supply Chain or Operations in biotech/pharma.
• APICS certification preferred; experience with inventory systems and planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead raw material governance forms and SAP Process Order management.
• Execute production planning and ensure material flow for tech transfer and ongoing manufacturing.
• Manage purchase orders, vendor inventory, and supplier forecasts.
• Provide timely material forecasts and monitor supplier performance.
• Support transition of materials planning into the MRP system without interruptions.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Process Development, and Warehouse.
