Job summary

Integrated Medical Systems, Inc. (IMS) seeks a Biomedical Operations Manager for our Irving, Texas facility. This hands-on leader oversees staffing, service throughput, equipment readiness, quality and timely customer support at a high-volume service site.

Reporting to the Director of Biomedical Operations, you will develop technicians, address backlogs, manage WIP, and drive capacity improvements as the Texas operation grows. Onsite work with occasional travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelors/associates degree or equivalent biomedical service experience.
• 5+ years biomedical or healthcare technology service experience.
• Experience leading or supervising teams at a service operation.
• Knowledge of infusion pumps and medical device maintenance and repair.
• Ability to manage workload, capacity and site expenses with data.
• Proficient with CMMS and service documentation tools; strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Direct Irving biomedical workflow: receiving, cleaning, maintenance, repair and final quality checks.
• Use iQuest and daily reviews to manage turnaround, aging units and technician productivity.
• Set service priorities, ensure handoffs and escalation pathways; address bottlenecks and discrepancies.
• Balance staffing, parts and capacity against demand; manage queues and prevent delays.
• Control site labor, overtime, parts and operating expenses; recommend investments based on data.
