Must be able to accurately perform calculations (e.g., molarity, percent solutions).

Responsibilities

Prepare reagents, media, and cultures according to approved protocols.
Operate lab equipment such as glassware washer, autoclave, and related tools.
Transport and arrange lab equipment and materials between classrooms and buildings.
Order supplies for courses and general lab/office needs.
Maintain clean lab classrooms and properly store components and equipment.
Provide technical support and guidance to Teaching Assistants and instructors.
Monitor waste and arrange for disposal or decontamination; act as lab safety officer.
