Job summary

Beacon Hill seeks a motivated HR Generalist to serve as a hands-on HR resource in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The bilingual (English/Spanish) role covers employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, benefits, workers’ compensation, compliance, and EHS initiatives.

The ideal candidate is organized, approachable, and comfortable working directly with employees onsite. Associate degree or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• HR Generalist or strong HR Coordinator with wider HR duties.
• Experience handling employee relations questions professionally.
• Strong conflict-resolution and communication skills.
• 100% onsite in a manufacturing environment.
• Occasional early-morning or late-night shifts in a 24/7 operation.
• Willingness to walk production floors and wear PPE.
• AA degree or equivalent; Bachelor’s preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing or high-volume hourly environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary HR contact for day-to-day questions and escalate complex matters.
• Support employee relations, concerns, conflict resolution, issue escalation, and supervisor support.
• Facilitate new-hire orientation and onboarding for permanent and temporary employees.
• Coordinate recruiting and staffing for hourly, temporary, non-exempt, and exempt roles.
• Manage relationships with staffing partners and support a temp-to-hire workforce.
• Follow up with new employees regarding onboarding and engagement.
• Communicate benefits information and resources to employees.
• Coordinate workers' compensation matters and maintain documentation.
• Process changes: hires, terminations, position changes, compensation updates.
• Maintain HR records for legal and regulatory compliance.
• Assist with wage studies and market adjustments.
• Partner with plant leadership to promote positive relations and culture.
• Assist with EHS initiatives, safety training, audits, safety communications.
• Maintain visibility on the production floor while adhering to PPE guidelines.
