Job summary

King’s Hawaiian is hiring a Benefits Specialist to support day-to-day benefits administration across corporate and manufacturing environments, including health, retirement, time off, and wellness programs. You will guide employees, coordinate with Payroll and vendors, and help drive open enrollment and compliance efforts onsite in Oakwood, GA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field required; benefits certification preferred
• At least 2 years of experience in HR, benefits administration, or related field
• Knowledge of benefits practices, ERISA, ACA, COBRA, FMLA, and ADA preferred

Responsibilities

• Administer day-to-day benefits transactions including enrollments, changes, deductions, COBRA, and updates
• Review benefits data in HR systems for accuracy and resolve discrepancies with Payroll/HRIS/vendors
• Serve as primary contact for employee benefits and wellness questions with onsite support across shifts
• Support 401(k) and deferred compensation plan administration, including enrollments and reporting
• Coordinate time-off and leaves, case intake, tracking, and return-to-work coordination
• Administer tuition reimbursement program and ensure accurate payments
• Assist with onboarding and benefits inquiries for new hires
• Coordinate annual open enrollment activities and communications
• Support benefits wellness programs and campaigns to boost employee participation
• Assist with benefits reporting, audits, and compliance activities
• Organize onsite benefits and wellness events and educate employees through multiple channels
• Develop clear, accessible benefits communications for manufacturing employees
