Job summary

Ashton North LLC in Gratiot, OH is seeking a Benefits Consultant for an onsite role. You will be the primary contact for employee benefit questions, present benefit information, and administer medical, dental, vision, life and retirement plans.

The ideal candidate has an Associate’s degree or equivalent HR experience, at least two years in benefits, strong MS Office and HRIS skills, and the ability to explain complex materials clearly.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent HR experience.
• Minimum of two years HR or closely related experience.
• Specific benefits experience required, not generic HR background.
• Baseline benefits knowledge including regulations and plan administration.
• Strong PC skills and HRIS experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for employee benefit questions and issue resolution.
• Present benefits information during weekly orientation sessions.
• Administer benefit plans across medical, dental, vision, life and retirement.
• Process and reconcile benefit premiums, invoices, and payroll deductions.
• Manage COBRA administration and LOA benefit billing.
• Audit benefit data and reports for accuracy.
• Support open enrollment and employee communications.
• On-site five days a week.
