Job summary

Boca Recovery Center seeks a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to support the Housing Department in a residential setting at our Pompano Beach location. The role focuses on safety, structure, and client well-being, reporting to the DOO.

Responsibilities include supervising client activities, observing drug screens, documenting MORs, and ensuring adherence to the daily schedule. Requires compassion, reliability, and ability to work the 3rd shift on-site.

Qualifications

• Experience in behavioral health or residential care preferred.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Valid Florida driver’s license with no disciplinary actions.
• Knowledge of safety and documentation standards is expected.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and support clients daily.
• Supervise housing department operations and daily schedule.
• Document rounds and MORs for medications.
• Observe Urine Drug Screens (UDS).
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of residence and facilities.
• Assist in training new BHT staff and collaborate with departments.
• Communicate client concerns clearly and report incidents.
• Attend scheduled meetings and trainings.
