Job summary

Pyramid Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Cloud Engineer for a 12+ month contract in the United States (onsite). The role requires hands-on design, deployment, and management of scalable AWS infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines, with a focus on reliability and security. You will collaborate with development and operations teams to improve cloud performance.

Qualifications

• Must have AWS cloud engineering capabilities with Terraform/CloudFormation and Kubernetes (EKS).
• Hands-on experience building scalable cloud platforms and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable AWS infrastructure (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, Lambda).
• Provision and manage infrastructure with Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Deploy and manage containerized apps using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS).
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Automate infrastructure and deployments with Ansible; write Python or Shell scripts.
• Configure AWS networking, security, access controls, and IAM policies.
• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and troubleshoot to maintain availability.
