Job summary

Cullerton Group is seeking a Cloud Engineer 3 – AWS Data & Serverless Infrastructure to design, provision, and operate secure, scalable AWS environments. This onsite role is based in Peoria, IL or Irving, TX on first shift for a 12-month engagement with potential permanent placement.

The candidate will work with AWS services (EKS, ECS/Fargate, Lambda, S3, Glue), IaC, and CI/CD pipelines, collaborating with business units to deliver reliable cloud solutions and cost estimates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5–7 years of relevant AWS cloud infrastructure experience.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification required.
• Experience with multi-account AWS environments.
• Proficient with EKS, ECS/Fargate, Lambda, S3, Glue.

Responsibilities

• Design, provision, and maintain AWS infrastructure for data processing and container workloads.
• Manage EKS clusters and ECS/Fargate environments.
• Provision AWS services like S3, Glue, Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions, EventBridge, DynamoDB.
• Automate deployments with CloudFormation templates and GitHub Actions.
• Configure networking and security including VPCs, ALB/NLB, IAM, SCPs, cross-account access.
• Develop Python/Bash scripts to automate cloud ops.
• Onboard business units and provide cost estimates.
• Troubleshoot production infrastructure and ensure secure operations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and explain solutions.
