Job summary
Texadia Systems is seeking a Commercial Lead Technician to manage on‑site installation, testing and system commissioning for AV projects. You will oversee technicians, perform pre‑site surveys, and ensure racks, cabling, and control systems are installed to the highest standards.
You will also conduct client training, walkthroughs, and close‑out documentation, while coordinating with PMs to meet milestones and deliverables.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or GED. Degree in electronics, computer science, audio or technology a plus.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience installing, programming, configuring AV components in commercial and/or residential environment.
- Infocomm CTS, CTS-I, CTS-D or Cedia certifications are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Installation through final testing and ensuring highest quality standards onsite.
- Dump control system programs, DSP and final tweaks to installations.
- Pre-installation site survey when needed.
- Build, inspect and test racks in‑house or onsite at client location.
- Post project walkthrough with the client.
- Client training and system overview.
- Test and train on AV and network cabling, equipment, and control systems.
