This role demands hands-on work, the ability to read blueprints, operate test equipment (multimeter/oscilloscope), strong customer service, and coordination with project managers to deliver timely on-site support and thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related experience servicing audiovisual systems.
• Basic knowledge of AMX, Crestron and DSP setup.
• Experience with Sony, Barco, NEC, AMX and other AV manufacturers.
• Experience with Cisco / Extron Switchers.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and preventative service calls to customer job sites.
• Troubleshoot complex audio, video, and control systems.
• Arrange for product returns and/or exchanges with the service coordinator.
• Install, modify, and test integrated systems interfacing with Project Manager & client.
• Provide technical assistance to other departments and staff.
• Provide technical phone support to customers and internal staff.
• Close-out paperwork and information in a timely manner.
• Demonstrate product and system capabilities to all client levels.
• Provide all documentation such as reports and timesheets.
• Develop and promote the company's presence as a service provider.
• Establish and support customers using personal selling skills.
• Perform other activities as directed by management.
