Job summary

Visual Sound Inc in Broomall, PA is seeking a skilled AV Field Engineer (Commissioning) to troubleshoot, reinstall and service electronic audio/visual systems, ensuring maximum uptime. You will perform field commissioning of AV systems, communicate performance to clients and the Installation Department, train end users and help refine processes for efficient workflows.

The role requires formal electronics education, at least two years in AV, and familiarity with enterprise VC solutions; CTS is a

Qualifications

Minimum two years of AV experience.
Formal education in Electronics or related field.
AVIXA CTS (Certified Technical Specialist) is preferred.

Responsibilities

Field commissioning of AV systems and related engineering tasks.
Communicate system performance to customer and Installation Department.
Final commissioning of DSPs, CODECs, switchers, control systems, VTCs and video processors.
Assist Technical Operations with installation and commissioning work.
Create user guides and train end users on A/V control systems.
Refine processes and workflows for better efficiency.
Maintain documentation and tools, and manage company vehicle.
Travel to client sites and occasional out-of-town travel.
