Diversified Services Network, Inc. (DSN) is seeking a full-time Autonomy Systems Engineer to join our fully onsite team split between Mossville and Peoria, IL.

You will develop autonomous machine capabilities for construction equipment, integrating hardware and software and working with multiple internal teams. Responsibilities include hardware installation, software flashing, system integration, and validating autonomy solutions on machines, with emphasis on CAN, Ethernet, and ROS2, in lab and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; 5–7 years of professional experience
• OR Master’s degree with full 5 years of experience
• Experience as a Systems Engineer for autonomous machines and hardware‑software integration

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and test autonomy hardware on machine
• Flash software on machine and validate functionality
• Support prototype and test machine builds
• Monitor CAN and Ethernet traffic on the machine and validate data
• Troubleshoot wiring, harness, sensors, and time synchronization issues
• Coordinate with autonomy, machine development, and validation teams
• Lead or support system integration, testing, and validation
• Decompose customer requirements into system‑level technical requirements
• Document architecture and trade‑offs with traceability
