Job summary

West Pharmaceutical Services, Inc. seeks an Automation Engineer for an onsite, fixed-term contract lasting 9 months in Tempe, AZ. The role focuses on developing and supporting technology to improve production, quality, safety and profitability, with responsibility for project planning and execution.

The position is 40 hours per week with overtime as needed; travel is minimal. A $1,000 milestone bonus is offered for 12 and 24 weeks, and benefits are provided as part of the employment package.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience in medical device or regulated industry.
• Experience with project management and support of technical projects.
• Knowledge of quality systems, FDA Quality System Regulation (QSR), cGMP and ISO standards.

Responsibilities

• Support development of new and existing technology to improve quality, profitability and safety.
• Plan, schedule, and execute project assignments to meet timelines and governance policies.
• Develop and maintain validation and project management documents; review design changes.
