Ultimate Staffing Services is seeking an Automation Engineer to join a Fort Worth electronics manufacturing client. This full-time, 100% on-site role focuses on introduction, implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of automated equipment to maximize uptime, reliability, and performance in production, quality, and operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related engineering field.
• Minimum of 2 years in automation engineering or similar manufacturing environment.
• Experience with PLCs, sensors, motors, conveyors and vision systems is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate installation, relocation, commissioning, qualification, and integration of automation equipment for new and existing production lines.
• Lead calibration, preventive and corrective maintenance to maximize reliability.
• Troubleshoot PLCs, sensors, motors, conveyors, pneumatics, vision systems, and related controls.
• Perform RCCA and implement corrective actions using PDCA.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, Quality, vendors, and suppliers to improve performance and efficiency.
• Support production line changes, upgrades, tooling modifications, and process optimization.
• Develop and implement maintenance best practices to reduce downtime.
• Support evaluation of new automation technologies for electronics manufacturing.
• Maintain documentation for equipment and maintenance activities.
