Job summary

The Fountain Group is seeking an experienced Process Engineer to support automation initiatives across multiple manufacturing sites in Fort Mill, SC. You will lead automation projects, design and optimize PLC/SCADA, robotics, and control systems to improve safety, quality, and productivity.

Ideal candidates bring a Bachelor's in engineering, 3+ years in manufacturing automation, hands-on PLC programming, and experience with Rockwell/Siemens. Six Sigma Green Belt is a plus.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Automation or equivalent.
3+ years in manufacturing, automation, or process engineering.
Hands-on PLC programming, SCADA, networking, and robotics.
Experience with Rockwell, Siemens, Python scripting.
Six Sigma Green Belt and project leadership a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead automation and controls projects from concept through implementation.
Design, integrate, and optimize PLC, SCADA, robotics, and control systems.
Drive process improvements for safety, quality, productivity, and automation.
Partner with operations, engineering, IT, and quality teams to implement solutions.
Support capital projects, commissioning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
