Job summary

Concentra is seeking an experienced Athletic Trainer for an onsite PRN role at our Greenville, OH client site. This position focuses on delivering high-quality patient care within an occupational medicine program and coordinating workers’ compensation case management.

The role requires strong assessment, documentation, and ergonomic evaluation skills, plus the ability to support RTW planning and safety initiatives. PRN schedule includes select weekdays with variable hours.

Qualifications

• Current First Aid and CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer; Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers or equivalent.
• Experience in lieu of required education is acceptable.
• Typical onboarding requires at least 1 year of athletic training experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic first aid for injuries and illnesses per orders and assess function.
• Refer injured workers to clinicians for optimal care and recovery.
• Respond to on-site medical emergencies following standing orders.
• Assist in Workers' Compensation case management and return-to-work planning.
• Collaborate with HR and management on RTW job placement and safety.
• Perform ergonomic assessments and job analyses to reduce risk.
