Job summary

Concentra is seeking a PRN Athletic Trainer for an onsite clinic at our client’s Dayville, CT site. The role focuses on employee health, wellness, safety, and injury prevention, with responsibilities in injury management and return-to-work support.

Shifts are flexible within a 4am–8pm window; the site operates 24/7, offering varied coverage. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree, current First Aid/CPR, and at least 1 year of kinesiology or ergonomic-related experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university.
• Current First Aid and CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer. BLS for Healthcare Providers or equivalent.
• Experience of at least 1 year in kinesiology or ergonomic assessment.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic first aid for injuries and illnesses as per physician standing orders.
• Identify, evaluate and refer injured workers to appropriate clinicians for best care.
• Respond to onsite medical emergencies following standing orders.
• Assist in managing Workers Compensation cases and return-to-work processes.
• Coordinate injury prevention programs and ergonomic training/evaluation.
• Develop and maintain patient care records and reports.
