Job summary

Dorman Products is seeking an Associate Project Manager to support new product development initiatives in Colmar, PA. This onsite role is ideal for someone early in their PM career who wants hands-on experience delivering launches on time and within scope.

The role collaborates with Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and Marketing to ensure milestones are met, reports are prepared, and project data stays current. A related degree and 1–3 years of experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, project management, supply chain, or related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in coordination or project support roles (internships included).
• PMP or CAPM certification or interest in pursuing one.
• Experience in manufacturing, automotive, or consumer product environments.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with project tracking tools (Smartsheet, Jira, Monday.com).
• Exposure to ERP or PLM systems (SAP, Oracle, Windchill).

Responsibilities

• Support project planning and execution for product development initiatives, including leading smaller-scale initiatives from start to finish.
• Track project milestones, update schedules, and help maintain clear timelines.
• Assist in preparing project documentation, status reports, and meeting materials.
• Lead recurring team meetings, sharing project updates and recommendations with the team.
• Coordinate tasks with internal teams including Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and Marketing.
• Monitor project risks and communicate potential delays, bottlenecks, or issues to the Sr. Project Manager/Project Manager.
• Help ensure accurate and up-to-date project data within Monday.com.
• Support data and analytics needs, including building and maintaining project dashboards and reports.
• Facilitate communication across departments to support project alignment and delivery.
• Support continuous improvement efforts in project workflows and team collaboration.
