Job summary

Hanover Iron Works, Inc. is seeking an energetic Assistant Project Manager to oversee miscellaneous metals projects from start to finish, onsite in the Hanover/York area.

You will coordinate with the Detailing Manager, manage schedules and budgets, and ensure quality control across subcontractors and vendors. The role combines hands-on project leadership with sharp organizational and communication skills, reading blueprints, and using project management software to track progress and drive

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of the fabricating and erecting process of miscellaneous metals.
• Experience coordinating and supervising subcontracted vendors.
• Strong ability to read specifications and blueprints to determine material requirements.
• Excellent communication skills with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills to manage project documents and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Oversee completion of various misc. metals projects from start to finish.
• Collaborate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure on-time progress.
• Prepare and manage schedules, budgets, and change orders with the Detailing Manager.
• Maintain As Built drawings and ensure quality control across projects.
