Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our PM/CM team, managing building design and construction projects and delivering Owner’s Representative services for renovations and new builds across multiple locations including MA, CT, RI and NH.

Responsibilities include maintaining budgets, reviewing RFIs and submittals, coordinating design teams, tracking schedules and costs, and producing meeting minutes and client updates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management.
• Minimum 3 years of experience working on building construction projects.
• Willing and able to work at the client’s site Monday–Friday.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities; proficiency in MS Office; scheduling software knowledge.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the project budget, track expenditures and forecast costs.
• Review RFIs and submittals from the contractor and track for timely review.
• Coordinate design team review of mock-ups and inspections.
• Develop and issue meeting minutes and project reports for clients and stakeholders.
• Review construction schedules weekly and advise the team on progress.
• Assist with final pay applications and cost reporting.
• Assignments could be in MA, CT, RI and NH.
