Job summary

Tetrad Digital Integrity (TDI) is seeking a Principal Engineer / Technical Lead to support the CESO in Arlington, Virginia. This onsite role focuses on migrating to a high‑security cloud, delivering secure APIs, data pipelines, and system administration as part of a rapidly expanding customer base.

The position requires active TS/SCI clearance and leadership of multiple teams through Agile processes, with emphasis on database modernization, DevSecOps, and scalable, secure architectures spanning

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance
• BA/BS degree or higher
• 12+ years overall experience
• Leadership of multiple teams on complex software systems
• Experience in Oracle/SQL Server/Oracle 19c and cloud technologies
• Strong background in automated testing, CI/CD, and DevSecOps

Responsibilities

• Architect and engineer database modernization including cloud adoption
• Translate backlog items into technical delivery plans and sprint goals
• Develop, maintain, and evolve modernized database architectures for scalability, resilience, and security
• Design, implement, and test database solutions across on‑premises and cloud environments
• Lead secure APIs and data pipelines integration and automation
• Implement DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and security controls
• Drive long-term technical strategy and governance across teams
• Mentor senior engineers and manage performance and career development
• Ensure Agile practices, metrics, and continuous improvement using Jira
