Norton Property seeks a dependable Part-Time Onsite Apartment Manager for a 27-unit community in West Hollywood, CA. The role combines daily on-site duties with active leasing to fill vacancies, including inquiries, showings, and lease processing.

You'll manage marketing efforts, conduct showings, process applications, and coordinate maintenance while living rent-free in a studio apartment and earning $830 monthly. Strong organization and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of on-site apartment management experience.
• Experience leasing multiple vacancies, including marketing, showings, applications, and leases.
• Ability to reduce vacancies with leasing plans.
• Comfortable with basic hands-on maintenance repairs.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Microsoft Office proficiency; AppFolio experience preferred.
• Reliable, professional, able to work independently.
• No smoking; manager pet restrictions may apply.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily property walks to ensure cleanliness, safety, and appearance.
• Lead leasing for seven vacancies.
• Develop and implement marketing and advertising strategies.
• Conduct unit showings and follow up with prospective residents.
• Process rental applications from start to finish.
• Prepare and execute lease agreements accurately and in compliance with regulations.
• Complete basic hands-on maintenance repairs.
• Coordinate and report larger maintenance needs as necessary.
• Communicate professionally with residents and property management.
• Maintain clean, organized common areas.
• Ensure residents follow community rules and policies.
• Collaborate closely with property management for smooth operations.
• Maintain logs, notes, and communication through AppFolio.
