Thomson Reuters Special Services (TRSS) is seeking an Analyst to perform on-site research and analysis for national security and related clients. The role focuses on handling public records, open-source data, and social media to produce rigorous, defendable assessments and threat analyses.

As a member of the TRSS team, you will present insights through written reports and data visualizations, collaborate with project managers and colleagues, and contribute to analytic best practices. U.S.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in research and analysis using public records and open-source data.
• Bachelor's degree required; master's preferred.
• Experience investigative research to identify risks, relationships, patterns, and concerns.
• Ability to translate complex research into clear written assessments with uncertainty.
• Strong writing and source evaluation skills.
• Proficient in open-source research and multiple data streams.
• Ability to engage with teams and clients professionally.
• U.S. Citizenship essential for government contracts.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. national security clearance.
• Background checks will be conducted for this level.

Responsibilities

• Perform due diligence assessments and threat management reports using open data and proprietary holdings.
• Provide on-site client support with inquiries and ad hoc reporting.
• Deliver insightful analysis based on diverse data sources including public records, social media, and TRSS data.
• Communicate actionable insights through data visualization and processing methods.
• Collaborate with client managers and TRSS Analysts in a fast-paced environment.
• Mentor and train others, developing analytic best practices.
