Job summary

Unisys in Albany, NY is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain its network infrastructure. You will maximize performance, troubleshoot outages, and ensure 24x7 availability using Cisco routing and switching, firewalls, and VPNs.

This onsite role requires being in Albany four days per week. The ideal candidate has strong network engineering experience, CCNA preference, and a proactive approach to security, with opportunities to grow into leadership roles within IT

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree with 4-6 years of relevant experience or equivalent
• CCNA certification preferred
• onsite in Albany, NY four days a week

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, maintain and support the network infrastructure
• Configure routers and switches and troubleshoot outages
• Focus on security assessments and penetration testing
• Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to deliver network solutions

Education

BA/BS degree

CCNA certification (preferred)

4-6 years relevant experience
