Job summary

Cerro Flow Products LLC, a Marmon Holdings company backed by Berkshire Hathaway, seeks an Artificial Intelligence Intern for our Sauget, Illinois facility. This onsite, part-time internship offers hands-on experience applying AI to improve efficiency across functions and processes.

You will identify AI opportunities, work with multiple departments, and help develop and test AI tools, dashboards, and reports while learning practical applications of AI in manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in an AI/CS/data analytics program or recent completion.
• Interest in artificial intelligence, automation, data, and emerging technologies.
• Curiosity and willingness to explore unfamiliar tools and business problems.
• Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate technical ideas in a clear and practical way.
• Willingness and ability to work onsite at our Sauget, Illinois facility.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities where AI and other digital tools may improve efficiency, communication, data analysis, and decision-making.
• Projects may evolve based on business needs and intern interests.
• Assist with development and testing of AI-based tools, workflows, prompts, or process improvements.
• Organize, review, and analyze business or operational data.
• Assist with the creation of dashboards, reports, summaries, or other decision-support resources.
• Document processes, project findings, testing results, and recommended next steps.
