Job summary

Cerro Flow Products LLC, part of Marmon Holdings, seeks curious AI interns for an onsite, part-time internship at our Sauget, Illinois facility. You’ll explore how AI and digital tools can improve efficiency, data analysis, and decision-making, with projects evolving to match business needs and intern interests.

You will research AI tools, collaborate with departments, help automate tasks, develop and test AI-based tools, organize data, and create dashboards and reports for leadership review.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in or recent completion of a program related to artificial intelligence, computer science, data analytics, information systems, engineering, business, mathematics, or another related field.
• Interest in AI, automation, data, and emerging technologies.
• Curiosity and willingness to explore unfamiliar tools and business problems.
• Strong analytical, research, and problem solving skills.
• Ability to communicate technical ideas clearly and work independently and with others.

This opportunity is ideal for students or recent graduates interested in artificial intelligence, data analytics, technology, business process improvement, engineering, or related fields. This is an onsite, part‑time internship located at our Sauget, Illinois facility.

What You’ll Do

As an Artificial Intelligence Intern, you’ll work with employees and leaders across the organization to identify opportunities where AI and other digital tools may improve efficiency, communication, data analysis, and decision‑making. Because this is an emerging area within our organization, projects may evolve based on business needs, intern interests, and opportunities identified throughout the internship.

• Researching artificial intelligence tools, technologies, and potential business applications.
• Partnering with different departments to understand current processes, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
• Helping identify repetitive or time‑consuming tasks that may benefit from automation or AI‑assisted solutions.
• Supporting the development and testing of AI‑based tools, workflows, prompts, or process improvements.
• Organizing, reviewing, and analyzing business or operational data.
• Assisting with the creation of dashboards, reports, summaries, or other decision‑support resources.
• Comparing available technologies and presenting recommendations to business leaders.
• Documenting processes, project findings, testing results, and recommended next steps.
• Developing user guides, training materials, or presentations to help employees understand and use new tools.
• Supporting responsible AI practices, including data privacy, accuracy, confidentiality, and appropriate human review.
• Presenting completed projects and key learnings to leadership and other stakeholders.
• Contributing ideas and bringing a fresh perspective to how technology can support a manufacturing organization.

What We’re Looking For

Compensation & Internship Details

Pay Range: $20–$22 per hour

Employment Type: Part‑time internship

Work Location: Onsite in Sauget, Illinois

Benefits Eligibility: This part‑time internship is not eligible for company benefits.

Schedule: Hours will be established based on business needs and the selected candidate’s availability.
