Job summary

PGS Worldwide in Chandler, AZ seeks an AI Automation Engineer for a one-year onsite contract-to-hire role to develop and deploy AI-enabled automation using LLMs, agentic workflows, RAG, and containerized on-premise infrastructure.

Responsibilities include integrating LLM services, APIs, enterprise data, and vector databases, plus building CI/CD pipelines and maintaining performance and reliability in secure environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of relevant experience, master’s degree with 1+ year, or PhD with 1+ year.
• Hands-on experience integrating and deploying LLM-enabled applications.
• Experience with agentic workflows, RAG, model hosting, and inference.
• Experience integrating APIs, LLM services, and agent-orchestration frameworks.
• Experience with Docker or comparable container technologies.
• Experience developing or supporting AI/ML applications in on-premise containerized environments.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD, version control, and automated deployment practices.
• Hands-on experience working in Linux environments.
• Proficiency in Python or Go.
• Experience with RAG pipelines and vector databases.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy AI-enabled automation capabilities.
• Integrate LLM services, APIs, engineering tools, and enterprise data sources.
• Build and support agent-orchestration and Retrieval-Augmented Generation solutions.
• Integrate vector databases into AI-enabled applications.
• Deploy and maintain containerized applications in on-premise and classified environments.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment workflows.
• Troubleshoot AI applications, containers, infrastructure, and performance issues.
• Improve reliability, observability, availability, and maintainability of deployed solutions.
• Partner with software, DevOps, infrastructure, and engineering teams to transition automation solutions into production.
