K Group Companies in Grand Rapids, MI, is seeking an AI Automation Engineer to design and deliver production-grade AI-driven automation for internal operations and client engagements. You will work with the AI Enablement Team to translate complex requirements into scalable solutions.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with n8n, LLM integrations, Python, and API development, plus strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Hands-on expertise in AI/automation platforms (n8n) and LLM integrations.
• Proficiency with Python and integration patterns across business platforms.
• Experience building production-grade systems with reliability, docs and maintainability.
• Strong communication skills for presenting to non-technical stakeholders.
• MSP or technology services background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize AI-powered automation workflows.
• Develop intelligent systems including multi-stage AI classification pipelines.
• Implement provider-abstracted AI architectures with OpenAI and other LLMs.
• Build internal tools to reduce manual effort and improve data accuracy.
• Lead delivery execution for AI/automation client engagements.
• Participate in client discovery, evaluation, and solution design.
• Translate business requirements into working systems for clients.
• Create reusable delivery frameworks, templates, and documentation.
• Develop training materials and playbooks to enable AI adoption.
