Job summary

Hadrian is hiring a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer to lead AM production at a Texarkana facility. You will own builds for polymer and metal parts, run machines, prep files, troubleshoot issues, and write standards that keep production in spec.

Role reports to the Director of AM Applications Engineering in Los Angeles and requires onsite work in Texarkana with US citizenship or PR for ITAR compliance.

Qualifications

• BS or higher in Mechanical Eng, Materials Science, or Aerospace Eng.
• 2+ years in additive manufacturing or manufacturing engineering.
• Hands-on LPBF and/or FDM knowledge with materials and machine operation.
• Own build execution and troubleshoot production issues.
• Ability to write work instructions and set onsite standards.
• Familiar with COCs, FAIR, NCR processes and conformance to spec.
• DfAM experience and ability to evaluate AM manufacturability.
• GD&T familiarity and reading engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Be the boots on the ground for AM machines onsite across polymer and metal.
• Own build success for polymer and metal components including COCs, FAIR, compliance, and parts in spec.
• Prep build files when needed.
• Troubleshoot build failures and production issues onsite.
• Create and disposition NCRs.
• Develop work instructions for each part running at the facility.
• Create onsite standards for post-processing steps.
• Influence DfAM inputs to improve manufacturability and build success.
• Assist with LPBF and FDM machine maintenance, turnover, and setup.
• Keep build records and document what works to drive improvement.
• Coordinate with LA AM Applications Engineering, Quality, and Operations.
