Job summary

Arcturus in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Senior Additive Manufacturing Engineer to advance LPBF and DED workflows, develop parameter sets, build preparation, and post-process documentation for aluminum and copper systems infused with carbon nanomaterials. This hands-on role partners with AM, nanomaterials, processing, and testing leads to turn early-stage materials science into repeatable manufacturing.

You will run experiments, refine print parameters, diagnose defects, and help design

Qualifications

• Hands-on AM experience in metal processes.
• Ability to design and document process recipes.
• Experience in lab/shop manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Support LPBF, DED, and related metal AM experiments.
• Prepare builds and build layouts; define orientation and support strategy.
• Develop and refine print parameters and process recipes.
• Support powder handling, build setup, post-processing, and documentation.
• Diagnose print defects and troubleshoot build quality.
