Job summary

Premier Financial Search is seeking an Accounting Manager to join its management team in Commerce, CA. This hands-on role will lead day-to-day accounting, oversee close processes, and strengthen internal controls.

You will collaborate with all departments, manage AP/AR/payroll, and partner with an outside CPA. A bachelor's degree and 5–10 years in accounting are preferred; this is an onsite position with clear path to higher finance roles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5–10 years of accounting or finance experience with AP/AR/GL and payroll.
• Proven management and cross-functional communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the month-end close and prepare timely financial statements.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and HR-related finance tasks.
• Monitor cash flow, expenses, and internal controls.
• Ensure timely sales tax payments and compliance of licenses.
• Serve as main contact for outside CPA on accounting matters.
• Collaborate with IT to resolve issues and build custom reports.
