LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced Accountant III for a contract-to-hire opportunity in Fort Wright, KY. This fully onsite position focuses on month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting, with responsibility for general ledger integrity and intercompany activity.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance with 3+ years of progressive accounting experience and strong Excel skills to support accurate, timely financial information across

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong GL accounting and account reconciliations.
• Experience with month-end close activities.
• Intercompany accounting experience preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills (lookups, formulas, data analysis).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries.
• Perform monthly account reconciliations and analysis.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Assist with accounts payable activities and related accounting functions.
• Review and reconcile intercompany transactions.
• Maintain accuracy and integrity of the general ledger.
• Provide support for audits and financial reporting requirements.
• Analyze financial data and investigate discrepancies.
• Utilize Excel to manipulate and analyze accounting information.
• Collaborate with internal departments for timely financial reporting.
