Job summary

ReqRoute,Inc seeks a Senior Associate (Senior C/C++ Developer) in a hybrid role based out of Atlanta, GA. The candidate will maintain and enhance a real-time, high-throughput C/C++ application on Linux in a 24x7 production environment and build CI/CD tooling to improve delivery velocity.

Responsibilities include debugging, performance testing, and mentoring teammates while understanding impacts on related systems and design decisions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in C/C++ development.
• Experience with real-time, high-throughput Linux applications.
• Experience with CI/CD tooling and test automation.

Responsibilities

Job Description:

• Maintain, support and enhance a high throughput, distributed, real-time transaction processing application, written in the C programming language, running on the Linux platform, in a 24x7x365 production environment
• Design, develop, and maintain a CI/CD framework for the application
• Isolate application defects effectively, as well as provide specific conditions for reproducibility
• Leverage production data to test how our systems perform
• Provide tactical and technical support on tasks
• Understand impact on adjacent systems as well as short- and long-term impact of technical and/or functional decisions
• Develop effective tools and infrastructure to test complex, large-scale distributed systems
• Design and build tooling and infrastructure to help engineering teams measure and increase their velocity
• Ensure high-quality code is delivered that meets specifications and customer requirements
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve delivery of daily work
• Act as technical and/or functional point of contact for a project / subset of internal business systems projects
• Coach/mentor others in application, platform, and/or global architectural standards
