Job summary

The University of New Hampshire at Manchester seeks an Adjunct Instructor to teach the Transfer Seminar, a 1-credit online course designed to support transfer students as they transition to and establish themselves at UNH Manchester.

The instructor will create an inclusive, engaging learning environment that encourages students to participate, reflect on their experiences, and connect with campus resources and communities.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in higher education or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience working with college students, especially transfer or first-year students.
• Experience facilitating discussions, workshops, courses, orientation programs, or other student-development experiences.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and facilitation skills.
• Commitment to supporting a diverse student population and creating an inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Teach the Transfer Seminar online according to the approved course description, learning outcomes, and course curriculum.
• Provide clear instructions, timely feedback, and appropriate support for course assignments and activities; maintain grading records and submit grades by deadlines.
