Job summary

Penn State University invites applications for an Assistant Teaching Professor to support its online master’s degree in Organization Development and Change (ODC) and other LPS programs. • Evidence of excellence, or potential excellence, in online graduate teaching (asynchronous) and inclusive pedagogy.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Demonstrated strengths in time management, ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities, and organization.

Responsibilities

• Teach online, asynchronous courses in fall, spring, and summer terms with some in-person advisement and meetings.
• Coordinate with instructional designers and media specialists to ensure high-quality online course development and delivery, accessibility/UDL, media integration, and continuous improvement; advise master’s students through the program including capstone completion.
• Advise online D.Ed. doctoral students, supporting progress through examinations, course planning, and capstone development and writing.
• Participate in Summer Summit residency; support program administration activities including course scheduling, assessment, accreditation work, admissions review, orientation, and community-building for master’s students; collaborate with department leadership and staff to support operations.
