San José State University is seeking an Online Student Success Advisor to support enrollment, retention, and engagement for SJSU Online students. This remote-in-state California role involves advising, progress monitoring, proactive outreach, and connection to campus resources to foster student success.
Under supervision, you will support onboarding, assessment processes, and University initiatives on retention and graduation while coordinating with the Managing Director and Center team.
* This position is 100% remote in-state (California).* SJSU Online represents San José State University’s commitment toprovide fully online access to higher education for working adultlearners striving to advance their education and obtain theirbachelor’s degree. The Online Student Success Advisor will supportthe enrollment, retention, and engagement of SJSU Online students.Under the general supervision of the Managing Director of the SJSUOnline Student Success Center, this individual will provideacademic advising and success coaching while building relationshipswith online students, monitoring their academic progress, providingproactive outreach, and connecting students to appropriateUniversity resources to foster student success. Working with theCenter team, the advisor also participates in assessment processes,provides professional advising support for recruiting and orientingnew students, and supports University initiatives on retention,persistence, and graduation.

Anticipated Hiring Range: $5,099/month - $5,402/month
CSU Salary Range: $5,083/month - $7,228/month
