Job summary

SIPS Healthcare Solutions seeks a Sterilization Technologist Instructor to coordinate and deliver the Sterilization Technologist certification prep program in a virtual classroom. The role focuses on student engagement, exam prep, cohort administration, and ongoing program development.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on sterile processing experience, comfort with technology, and a passion for developing others through structured online instruction and timely feedback.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in sterile processing/CSPD.
• Associate degree or higher in any discipline.
• Strong knowledge of sterile processing practices.
• Demonstrated teaching, training, precepting, or presentation experience.
• Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and facilitate assigned quarterly cohorts and scheduled online classes.
• Deliver engaging instruction using presentations, demonstrations, case studies, quizzes, and other educational tools.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and academic support to students throughout the program.
• Identify students who need additional support and communicate concerns to leadership.
• Maintain an average class passing rate of 80% or higher.
• Maintain accurate student grades and educational records.
• Audit student files for required coursework, documentation, and completion.
• Prepare and issue Certificates of Completion for students meeting program requirements.
• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of student information.
• Identify opportunities to improve curriculum, instructional methods, and student outcomes.
• Incorporate practical sterile processing scenarios and current industry practices into instruction.
• Utilize video conferencing, presentation software, online learning platforms, spreadsheets, and other digital tools.
• Troubleshoot routine technology issues and help students navigate virtual learning requirements.
• Maintain an organized, interactive, and professional online learning environment.
