Job summary

ShopRite is seeking an Online Shopping Clerk for our Hauppauge, NY location. You will take customer orders from the ShopRite website, select items, bag and pack them, bill the order, and transport to the customer’s car while handling payment.

Strong English reading/writing, basic math, and a customer‑oriented attitude are essential. Responsibilities include accurately identifying products, selecting top-quality items, substituting when needed, and ensuring efficient order assembly.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, speak and understand English.
• Basic math proficiency required.
• Ability to stand/walk for full shifts.
• Regularly lift 25 lbs and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Handle products with safety awareness to avoid allergens.
• Tolerate dust and chemicals during housekeeping.
• Work in varying temperatures.
• Interact with customers in a friendly, helpful manner.
• Work cooperatively with others and follow schedules.

Responsibilities

• Identify products from various departments.
• Select top-quality perishable items and substitute when needed; communicate with customers.
