Job summary

ShopRite of Ramsey in Ramsey, NJ is hiring an Online Shopping Clerk to fulfill customer online orders. You will take orders from the ShopRite website, select items, bag and pack them, bill the order, and arrange pickup or delivery.

The role requires strong English, basic math, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and teamwork. Training covers selecting devices and software, safety, QA, and compliance with store policies. The position offers benefits under the CBA.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak English and analyze information.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to stand/walk for the duration of a shift.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to work with products and tolerate dust/chemicals.
• Ability to interact with customers in a friendly and helpful way.
• Ability to work with others and adhere to schedules.

Responsibilities

• Identify products accurately and select high quality items.
• Substitute items when out of stock and communicate with customers.
• Bag orders, pack totes, and prepare for pickup or delivery.
• Process payments and handle cash transactions.
• Provide courteous customer service and maintain a clean work environment.
• Follow QA and safety standards and company policies.
