Job summary

ShopRite of Carteret in CARTERET, NJ is hiring an Online Shopping Clerk. You will take customer orders from the ShopRite website, select items, pack orders in totes, and handle payment and delivery arrangements.

This role focuses on accurate picking, prompt customer communication, and efficient order processing. Responsibilities include using the picking device and software, meeting safety and QA standards, and supporting general department duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Stand/walk for shift duration.
• Lift 25 lbs regularly, up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Interact with customers in a friendly, helpful way.
• Work cooperatively with others and follow schedules.

Responsibilities

• Identify products accurately for customer orders.
• Select and organize items efficiently for pickup or delivery.
• Process payments and provide correct change.
• Bag orders securely and prepare totes for collection or delivery.
