Job summary

Michigan Online School seeks a Data Analyst to identify data needs and reporting strategies focused on student trajectory toward a four-year graduation rate. You will gather data across the organization, build dashboards, and provide analyses to inform instructional and operational decisions.

Responsibilities include collaborating with staff to design data governance policies, develop data visualizations, and support school development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (data science, education, CS, math) required.
• 2+ years of data extraction, analysis, and reporting in an educational setting.
• Experience with K-12 online learning preferred.
• Experience with state accountability reports or assessments preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.

• Identify data needs and reporting strategies to support student trajectory and graduation goals.
• Gather, distribute, and analyze data to inform educational and operational decisions.
• Develop data-driven technology solutions and quantify issues with data.
• Create dashboards, trackers, and visualizations for assessment and instructional data.
