Job summary

Al Furqan Academy seeks experienced Online Quran Teachers for a fully remote position. You will deliver one-to-one Quranic instruction to students worldwide, focusing on Tajweed, Makharij, and memorization (Hifz) with structured daily revision.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of online or in-person teaching, fluent English, reliable high-speed internet, a quiet home office, and proficiency with Zoom and screen-sharing tools.

Qualifications

• Proficient Tajweed and phonetics knowledge
• Fluent English communication; Arabic bilingual is a plus
• Stable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated home office
• HD webcam and quality microphone; comfortable with Zoom and digital boards

Responsibilities

• Conduct live one-on-one Quran classes tailored to each student
• Teach Quran recitation with Tajweed, Makharij, and pronunciation
• Guide students in Hifz with structured daily revision
• Develop customized lesson plans based on assessments
• Monitor progress and provide reports to parents/guardians

Al Furqan Academy, an online Quran and Islamic education institution, is seeking experienced Online Quran Teachers for a fully remote position. You will deliver one-to-one interactive Quranic instruction to students of all ages—children, teenagers, and adults—across the globe.

Your core responsibilities will include

• Conducting live one-on-one Quran classes tailored to each student's learning pace and goals
• Teaching Quran recitation with authentic Tajweed rules, accurate Makharij (articulation points), and proper pronunciation
• Guiding students through Quran memorization (Hifz) programs with structured daily revision schedules
• Developing customized lesson plans based on individual student assessments and needs
• Monitoring student progress and providing constructive reports to parents/guardians
• Maintaining an encouraging, patient, and spiritually grounded teaching environment

You must have

• A minimum of one year of documented online or in-person Quran teaching experience
• Practical mastery of Tajweed rules and phonetics
• Fluent English communication (Arabic bilingual skills are an advantage)
• A stable, high-speed internet connection
• A dedicated, quiet home office space
• HD webcam and quality microphone
• Proficiency with Zoom, digital whiteboards, and screen-sharing platforms
