Job summary

University of California, Berkeley’s School of Public Health invites applications for a pool of qualified temporary Lecturers to teach in online formats for the Online Master of Public Health program. Lecturers in lieu of GSI duties support online courses and may teach in fall, spring, and summer terms. Availability varies; screening is ongoing.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree (or enrollment in an advanced degree program) is required or expected.
• Experience with online or distance education formats is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses in online education formats as the lecturer of record.
• Oversee course governance, develop syllabi and materials, coordinate with instructional designers, and assess student work.
