The School of Public Health (SPH) at the University of California, Berkeley invites applications to a pool of qualified temporary Lecturers to teach courses in residential programs, including fall and spring instruction and Berkeley Summer Sessions. Screening is ongoing and the number of available positions varies throughout the year.

Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Competenze

• By the application date, doctoral degree or be enrolled in a doctoral degree program.
• Applicants in student status or candidates for a higher degree at any University of California campus may not be appointed as lecturers.
• Prior college-level teaching experience is preferred.

Mansioni

• Teach courses in residential programs (fall and spring) and Berkeley Summer Sessions.
• Prepare course materials (e.g., syllabus), hold office hours, assess student work and assign grades, respond to email, maintain a course website.
