Job summary

Sam Houston State University’s SHSU Online department is seeking a Student Employee in Online Operations. The role supports the Online Operations team across administration, faculty development, and course development, with duties including captioning, transcripts, and audio edits.

Qualifications

• You must be currently enrolled as a student at Sam Houston State University taking at least 6 credit hours to be eligible for this position.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned support requests in a timely manner while ensuring that all quality customer service standards are upheld
• Work collaboratively with other team members and SHSU Online staff to ensure the successful completion of assigned support requests
• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Prioritize responsibilities to meet requested due dates
• Work with Microsoft 365 apps (including Teams)
• Complete regularly assigned training and quality assurance protocols successfully
• Perform other related duties as assigned
