Qualifications
- Earned Doctorate in Nursing or Doctorate with earned master's degree in nursing.
- 3-5 years related work experience; nursing education preferred.
- Hold a current Wisconsin registered nurse license in good standing or multi-state privilege to practice in Wisconsin.
- Experience with Blackboard or similar online course platforms.
- Experience with Zoom, Skype, or WebEx.
- Ability to work collaboratively with fellow university faculty as well as departments who support student life and academic achievement.
Responsibilities
- Teach 10 online courses per year (typically 30 credit hours), including Weekend Residency coverage.
- Advise students and collaborate with advising team members to support learner success.
- Participate in program development, assessment, and curriculum governance.
- Contribute to recruitment, retention, and campus growth initiatives.
- Engage in university-wide governance and service activities as assigned.
