Job summary

Ottawa University seeks a Nursing Faculty member to deliver high-quality instruction in the MSN program at the Brookfield campus. The role includes teaching 10 online courses per year, advising students, and participating in scholarship and campus governance.

The ideal candidate holds a Doctorate in Nursing (or Doctorate with an earned Master’s in nursing) and 3–5 years of nursing education experience, with a Wisconsin RN license and online teaching experience (Blackboard/Zoom/WebEx).

Qualifications

• Earned Doctorate in Nursing or earned Doctorate with earned master's degree in nursing.
• 3–5 years of related teaching experience; nursing education preferred.
• Hold a current Wisconsin registered nurse license in good standing or multi-state privilege to practice in Wisconsin.

Responsibilities

• Teach 10 online courses per year (30 credit hours), including Weekend Residency coverage.
• Maintain high teaching standards with engaging pedagogy and current curriculum.
• Advise students with their advising teams and support course scheduling and retention.
