Job summary

The Department of Graduate Nursing at the University of Texas at Arlington invites applications for an adjunct instructor pool in the MSN Administration program. These part-time, temporary, non-tenure track appointments may develop on a periodic basis depending on department needs and involve teaching courses online or in hybrid formats.

Positions will report to the Department Chair and require credential checks, background checks, and references for finalists.

Qualifications

• MSN in Nursing Administration or Post Graduate Certificate required.
• At least 3 years executive nursing leadership experience as a director or above.

Responsibilities

• Provides instruction within the College of Nursing and Health Innovation.
• Reports directly to the Department Chair.
• Maintains academic standards as established by the university, CONHI and Department of Graduate Nursing.
• Teaches students in online settings.
• Assumes responsibility for and/or participates in the planning and organization of courses to which assigned.
• Participates in the development, implementation and evaluation of school, program, course and student activities.
